• The P3b amplitude is determined by the amount of attentional resources allocated when
working memory is updated. Its latency reflects stimulus evaluation and classification speed.
• P3b amplitude is usually smaller, and its latency can be longer in AD patients.
• Patients that have suffered a concussion usually have a decrease in P3b amplitude, with
generally normal peak latency.
