To Resolve:  First, observe the disposition of L and R channels.
Check for:
  • Is the back of the sensor touching the patient's ear?
  • Is the hair swept away and back from the sensor?
Is the HydroDot pressed into the socket far enough?
Next:
  • Try lightly pressing L and R sensors back into place, Recheck
  • Try reprepping the site by first using the stick end to move the hair against the grain and out of the way.
Make 10 small, firm cicles with the gel, Recheck.
  • Try replacing the sensor with a new one, recheck
  • If all options fail, may be necessary to remove harness, clean it, and reapply.
