8. Instruct the subject for the Audiometry portion of the test.
"We are going to test your hearing. Please listen carefully to the sounds that will be played through the Earphones. Press the button when you hear a sound in either ear."
9. Insert the earphones.
10. Run the Audiometry test by clicking(~ 6 min)
11. Clickfor HTL LEFT and for HTL Right
12. Run the real Audiometry test by pressing(~5 min)
Practice ERP Test
13. Impedances will be checked
14. If the impedances are too high, reprep the referenced electrode and click
15. Remove 1 Earphone and give the following instructions:
"We will now begin a short practice test. You will hear two sounds: a low sound and a high sound. Press the button as fast as you can when you hear the high sound only."
16. Play the tones for the patient:
17. Replace the Earphone.
18. If impedances are good, start the test by clicking
19. Observe the patient and monitor the test
20. Go to the next test by clicking
Full ERP Test
21. Impedances will be checked
22. If the impedances are too high, reprep the referenced electrode and click
23. Remove 1 Earphone and give the following instructions:
"Now we are going to run the full-length test. Please continue to press the button for the high sound only, and ignore all other sounds you may hear."
24. Replace the Earphone.
25. If impedances are good, start the test by clicking
26. Observe the patient and monitor the test
27. Go to the next test by clicking
Resting EEG
28. Impedances will be checked
29. If the impedances are too high, reprep the referenced electrode and click
30. Remove 1 earphone and give the following instructions:
"Please rest with your eyes closed for 3 minutes. We will let you know when the test is over."
31. Replace the Earphone.
32. If impedances are good, start the test by clicking
Upload Test Data
34. At the end of the test, upload the data from the Monitor screen.
