Immediately after the test, the Harness should be removed from the patient's head.
First, remove the Earphones from the patient's ears.
Then remove the Harness by unsnapping one side of the Chinstrap and lifting the Harness completely off the patient's head.
Wipe the patient's scalp with a cloth soaked in water.
NOTE: Both the conductive gel and skin prep are water-soluble and are easily rinsed off if performed immediately after the test.
Clean the Harness:
Push each of the Biosensors from their sockets using the stick end of a cotton swab, as shown below, and dispose in the proper trash receptacle.
Open the foil Sani-Cloth pouch and remove the alcohol soaked cloth. Tear the cloth in half and wrap one half around the cleaning brush as shown below. The other half will be used to wipe the other surfaces.
Use the cloth-wrapped brush to clean each socket as shown below.
Use the other half of the cloth to clean all external surfaces of the Harness.
NOTE: Not cleaning the Harness thoroughly will result in the gel and/or skin prep drying in or around the electrode sockets making the Headset inoperable. The Headset should be inspected for dried gel and/or skin prep before each test and cleaned if necessary.
Store Device:
After use, place the Harness back into the system case
Make sure the electronics module fits comfortably in the foam compartment before shutting the case lid
