Accessories

The HCU communicates to the Headset through the blue HCU to Headset cable.  One end of the cable plugs into the connector port on the HCU and the other end into the bottom of the Headset electronics module.

 

The Earphone Cable connects between the Headset electronics module and the Earphones.

 

Insert Earphones, plugged into the Headset’s electronics module, are used to produce the sound stimulus for auditory ERPs.  The Earphones are a type commonly used in hearing testing and are calibrated to play sounds at very precise frequencies and volumes.  They consist of a small sound generator coupled to a soft foam Eartip which is inserted into the ear.
